What Blocks You From Reaching Your Business Goals?

Yesterday I shared my secret to successfully setting and achieving goals. The secret? Know WHY you’re setting your goals.

Starting with WHY you’re doing this will get you in the right frame of mind (click here to read that post if you missed it).

Today, we’re going to dive into WHAT goals will drive your business forward.

Your business makes money when you make sales. Period.

A lot of people out there want to get you to focus on all sorts of other things. Don’t get sucked in!

You don’t make money when you get more followers, likes, hearts, comments, new email subscribers or any other metric like that.

Are those things important? Maybe… depending on your sales funnel.

But here’s what’s most important:

  1. Attracting new potential clients into your sales funnel.
  2. Having a sales conversation with those new potential clients.
  3. Inviting potential clients to become CLIENTS.
  4. Providing an amazing experience (product, service, program) that delivers your promised results.
  5. Creating repeat sales from happy, satisfied clients.
  6. Repeat.

Here are the top 3 challenges I see in most business owners I speak with:

  1. Not enough potential clients in your sales pipeline.
  2. Not having sales conversations (basically waiting for potential clients to call YOU).
  3. Not having a clear, compelling offer for your clients.

So before you start setting crazy income goals for the new year… only to be disappointed when you’re not making $1,000,000 in December 2016, ask yourself these 5 questions:

–>Do you have a process in place to consistently attract new potential clients into your sales funnel?

–> Are you consistently adding new potential clients to your email list?

–> Are you interacting with new potential clients on social media in a meaningful one-to-one manner?

–> Are your client hours filled up with sales calls and/or clients?

–> Are you consistently adding new clients to your business every week?

If you answered NO to any of these, create goals all around increasing your VISIBILITY and IRRESISTIBLE OFFER to your potential clients.

Without new people entering your sales funnel consistently, you will not make your business goals.

There are many other things I could say about achieving your goals (including having a sales conversation, asking for the sale and delivering on your sales) but we’ll leave it at this today.

What questions/challenges do you have in reaching your business growth goals?
